NWSCDC

The Northwest Side Community Development Corporation (NWSCDC) is a small non-profit agency that makes big loans that have a big impact on the community. We are based on the NW side of Milwaukee at the Northern end of the 30^th Street Industrial Corridor.

Our low-cost loans are one of our most successful tools in our mission to help restore the Northwest side of Milwaukee into a premier place to live, work, or own a business and have become critically important this year as traditional business lending has all but disappeared. We lend to growing businesses that create good-paying jobs for low-income people and have helped create hundreds of jobs over the past decade. The loans support our other efforts such as our exciting role as Co-Developer of Villard Square, a mixed-use housing development that incorporates a public library and apartments for “Grand families” on West Villard Avenue.

To increase the impact of our lending we need additional funding from private foundations and individual donors like you. 2010 will be our 27^th year in business.
