The Northwest Side Community Development Corporation is excited to announce a new partnership with the City of Milwaukee’s Atkinson-Capitol-Teutonia Business Improvement District #29. The “ACT BID” has chosen the NWSCDC to manage BID activities through a new service agreement.
The ACT BID Board and staff of the NWSCDC appeared before the Milwaukee Common Council’s Community & Economic Development Committee on Monday, May 18th 2009 to amend the ACT BID 2009 operating plan. The plan passed the Common Council unanimously on Wednesday May 27th.
The NWSCDC looks forward to supporting the ACT BID as we re-energize involvement in BID activities in 2009 through a new streetscape plan and first-ever ACT BID festival.
The boundaries of the ACT BID are the 800 to 2600 blocks of Atkinson Avenue, 2000 to 2700 blocks of Capitol Drive, and the 3700 to 4300 blocks of Teutonia Avenue.
