The NWSCDC's Executive Director since 1983, Mr. Snyder has helped shape the business development strategy for the CDC. Through Mr. Snyder's leadership, the CDC has provided both strategy and program implementation for entrepreneurship, expansion and major business retention. Mr. Snyder fostered the CDC's move into DRS to participate in the 30th St. Industrial Corridor activities and to work with DRS to help formulate the small business strategy surrounding the incubator development. Mayor Barrett appointed Mr. Snyder to the Private Industry Council's Transition Team, and later to the Workforce Investment Board. He was appointed by Donald Sykes to head the Economic Development Committee of the PIC, helping to align business and workforce needs. |
